Area of Use: Super Mini Booms are recommended as sweeping devices to aid in the removal of oil on water when a prevailing wind or current does not exist or is counter-productive to efficient removal. The Super Mini Boom is deployed around the oil and then moved to reduce the coverage area, increasing the oil thickness for more effecient recovery by a vacuum hose or floating skimmer. Super Mini Booms are effective containment devices on small streams, creeks, stock ponds and low water areas.

AREA OF USE: 6" x 9" booms are used by clean-up contractors because they cover a broader spectrum of applications and conditions.

Recommended section lengths: 50' and 100'
AREA OF USE: 6" x 12" booms are used on lakes or open bodies of water where wind creates significant wave action. Under normal conditions, total section lengths should not exceed 1000' without added strength members.

AREA OF USE: These booms are recommended for large lakes, bays, or harbors. Top cable is recommended when several hundred feet are deployed. 3/8" chain ballast is recommended when tidal flows or currents exist.
